The route through Sada leads the hiker into the inland area of the municipality, an alternative to the coastal atmosphere, which allows the visitor to enjoy the places of natural and cultural interest.

Of particular note within the urban area of Sada are the emblematic buildings representative of its civic architecture: La Terraza, the college of “Sada y sus Contornos” or the Cultura Pintor Llorens’ house. The ruins of the castle of Fontán and the castro (fortified village) of Samoedo are other landmarks that the visitor should not miss.

The route passes through an area of agricultural smallholdings, which are gradually being replaced by plantations of eucalyptus. Some area of autochthonous Oak, Hazel and Birch woodlands and riverside woodland species still remains. Of special interest is the site known as “As Brañas”, a wetland area notable for its fauna.
