Google Maps

This route, which layout is circular throughout the coast of Oleiros, begins in Mera, near the lake of the same name. From this point we reach the Punta de Mera, where rise some interesting lighthouses. The Lighthouse, nowadays transformed in a Visitor Reception Center and in Aula do Mar, presents the values of Dexo-Serantes Coast and is classified as a Natural Monument. The path runs through part of this Protected Natural Area, highlighting the strength and beauty of its cliffs. Near the O Seixo Branco (a white seam of quartz), we can see marine caves called furnas and bufadoiros, caused by the erosion of the sea. From the coast we can also see beautiful islets, among which stands out A Marola.

From the O Seixo Branco the walker can reach the castros of Subiña, Punta Roza and Torrella, and the church of Santa María de Dexo, a Romanesque church built in the twelfth century. Then we arrive to the Port of Lorbé, where it is recommended to taste the typical mussels.
